Who we are
Established in 1994, the RCMP Foundation is a Canadian registered charitable organization (Registration Number 891132540RR0001) that manages and licenses the commercial use of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) images and protected marks.
The RCMP Foundation’s mandate is to give back to Canadian communities through a wide variety of charitable programs.
By generating proceeds through licensing, donations and sponsorship, the RCMP Foundation has contributed over 10 million dollars to over 1,000 community initiatives in areas such as drug awareness, youth programs, crime prevention, victim services and internet safety over the past 25 years.
What we do
The RCMP is an iconic Canadian brand recognized throughout the world. Retailers across North America sell a wide range of RCMP licensed product to Canadians, tourists and RCMP Members.
Any RCMP likeness, logo or images are protected intellectual property. No reproduction can be done unless a license is obtained through the RCMP Foundation.
Through the licensing program, authorizes the use of the RCMP intellectual property ensuring that it is representative of the iconic stature and quality, ethics and safety are maintained in all manufactured products.
